Hello there! :wave: I had a lovely little post-birthday surprise from my parents: a new laptop! It's an incredibly lovely thing for them to do considering they would have preferred to buy themselves a new laptop, but nevertheless, I'm so glad to have a machine that doesn't crash or overheat or clatter or have a broken side. Everything is sorted now, though due to a sudden speaking assessment in my after school French I was kind of distracted from setting this girl up, so I'm returning a bit later than I expected to. Apologies for my choice of words but I am not one happy teacup. My laptop, the fair and valiant one, has finally met his last. Yes, he's buggered. Family to the rescue, however! My parents have offered me their old laptop. Unfortunately, I can only have its use at the weekend, as they need to remove all of its data to make room for all of my stuff. After that I shall need to add my programs of choice to the old thing. This'll take a while, so don't expect me back until about Monday. I know, annoying, but these things happen.
